How stump grinding works
Stump grinding is the process by which a rotating cutter wheel grinds a stump to a depth of up to 24 inches below ground level. After the stump grinding is finished, all that’s left of the stump is a mixture of wood chips and dirt which can either be raked into a smooth mound, used in flower beds or garden or can be removed altogether depending on your preferences.
